Turn your TV off and get outside!!

Remember when playing outside meant spending hours running around and bike riding with your friends until those street lights came on??



It's sad how quickly things have changed!!
I find it shocking that children and youth now spend an average of 7 hours 48 minutes in front of a T.V., video game console and computer screens DAILY!! This is crazy and we wonder why child obesity in Canada alone has TRIPLED over the past 3 decades.
Right now there are a BILLION people worldwide who are overweight and 300 MILLION are obese....it is time we as adults put a STOP to this because if we don't and this trend continues, by 2040 up to 70% of adults aged 40 will be overweight.
Join me and let's teach our children healthy habits starting NOW with 4 easy steps.
• 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day
• 2 hours or LESS of screen time every day
• 1 hour or more of physical activity every day
• ZERO sugar sweetened beverages per day

WHO'S WITH ME???
